i am very lucky in that i have a job that i love. not sure you would call the work i do as playing but i do enjoy touching and making the situation better when there and when i leave.
i am a hospice nurse. so i see a lot of death, women especially loose their husbands
I try to give them hope that they will be ok once they are alone. Family become closer, compassion and love for one another flow among the families. sad times but i do not get depressed. I feel honored to be a part of the end of ones life..i give and receive comfort from the families. Playing, no not exactly call it that but it is something i enjoy doing. I look forward to every day, yes, would love to see death not be the outcome of our lives. i will do what i can to make the medical technology possible to do away with death as we know it now.
