Friday Night Essence/Ten Second Miracles

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Mark Hamilton! I begin by extending my condolence to you. Death is no stranger to me, I lost my mother, a brother and two aunts within a 22 month period between January 2002 and November 2003.
So when it comes to this death thing, I feel You brother.

I have been totally mesmerized since I began reading and studying the work of you and your father. I identified my Friday Night Essence as soon as I read your definition of what it is and I have had several Ten Second Miracles while reading Ms Annabelles secrets.

Although I did not know it at that time, I recognized my FNE back in 1970 while attending Merritt College in Oakland, CA. Undecided about what I wanted to do that would make me happy while making a living the rest of my life. I grew up in a housing project in Alabama where I developed a deep compassion for under priviledged children. So, I consider social work. Music has been my #1 passion for as long as I can remember. However, music is a risky business and I could always persue it as a hobby. My third option was electronics. I knew that if I was going to get involved with music as a hobby or as a professional musician, I needed to know something about amplifiers and public address systems.I decided to take a class in basic electronics not knowing that I would fall totally in love with the technology. The new found interest in electronics added another piece to the puzzle, the final piece. One day out of nowhere came the thought, major in electronics with an emphasis on sound and recording engineering, build a recording studio and make it accessable as well as affordable to starving artist and young people. This sir, is my FNE. The Ten Second Miracle occured when out of the blue, I decided to major in electronics.

I am fasinated by the story of Ms Annabelle and her 12 students. As a matter of fact I find my self in a situation very simular to that of Ms Annabelle. I have been defending myself in a workers comp case for the past 15 years. I am in complete agreement with you and your assesment of the Anticivilization.
