Amazed

I have been a Neo-tech customer since 2000. I have always been amazed at the values NTP has and continues to create to this day. Seems like they are always doing something new and fresh. Which is an example and inspiration that I also can and will create values. In this meeting Mr. Hamilton (Mr.H) explained a little why he will for the most part type and we look at the words instead of listening to him speak. This makes sense from the Bicameral Mind Theory of Julian Jaynes. According to it the dynamics of writing and speaking are very different. Writing was one of the causes for the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind. By contrast, the “gods” of the past spoke to their subjects. Jaynes called the Bicameral Mind an auditory mind whereas the conscious mind is a visual mind, since we use many visual metaphors to refer to mental processes. Today instead of “gods” telling us what to do, external authorities throughout history have told us what to do by the spoken word. As an example Hitler’s Nuremburg rallies. Also preaching/evangelizing is the primary method of religious proselytizing. Conclusion: The medium, i.e. the spoken word vs. the written word, is the message.
