Child Within

Hi, thank you for the invite…I lost my hearing as a 5 yo boy and my world become silent along with my childhood. Fear of not understanding what was happening, of the unknown, trauma following, rejection, etc. I had to “grow up and mature” faster than most my age. Therefore “playing” was something I lost but somehow kept alive inside me in my own world. Despite all my tribulations I somehow always stayed happy, sometimes pretended everything was alright and they did. The point is, the playful child within is the reason I survived and forged ahead unawares, and also beared the loneliness that I lived. “Doing” for others and helping others have positive attitudes in the mist of failures, depression, anger, etc, has always made me feel good about life in general and forget my own tribulations. Question is: I work in healthcare as a Respiratory Therapist, how can I play? How do I go about this? Thank You Very Much…~Rodolfo~
